At Wonderfully Made Physical Therapy, we’ve chosen to be an out-of-network provider so we can give you the highest level of care — without the limitations that often come with insurance.
Working outside of insurance allows us to:
✔ Spend more one-on-one time with you
✔ Treat the whole person, not just a diagnosis code
✔ Tailor each session to your unique needs — without rushing or cutting corners
✔ Focus on meaningful, lasting progress — not just what insurance will reimburse
Please reach us at clientcare@wonderfullymade-pt.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Being out-of-network means we don’t bill your insurance company directly. Instead, you pay us at the time of your visit, and if your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement.
To make that process easier, we provide a superbill — a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance.
Even without out-of-network benefits, you can absolutely still work with us. Our practice is self-pay, which gives you access to high-quality, one-on-one care that’s fully personalized to your needs.
If you’re unsure what your insurance covers, we recommend calling your provider and asking:
“Do I have out-of-network benefits for physical therapy?”
No referral is required to begin physical therapy in Florida—thanks to "direct access." We can treat you for up to 30 days without a physician’s sign-off. If care is needed beyond that, we may need a provider (like your doctor or nurse practitioner) to review and sign your plan of care. This allows you to start your healing journey right away—no delays, no extra steps.
Your first visit is a chance for us to get to know you and what you're experiencing. We’ll go over your health history, movement patterns, and any areas of discomfort. Through gentle hands-on techniques and functional testing, your therapist will work to identify the root causes of your symptoms.
If you're coming for pelvic health concerns, a pelvic floor exam may be included — internally or externally — with your consent.
Each session lasts about 55–60 minutes and is always one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. You'll receive the full attention of a licensed specialist, with care tailored to your goals and needs. We don’t use aides or double-book appointments, so you can feel confident you're getting focused, expert support every time.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. If your session includes exercise or gym work, sneakers are a good idea — even for pelvic floor visits. For pelvic care, clothing that’s easy to adjust is helpful. Most of all, wear what makes you feel at ease.
We specialize in pelvic floor physical therapy for both women and men, as well as orthopedic physical therapy for issues like post-surgical recovery, joint pain, and movement dysfunction. We commonly support people navigating:
